How to sign in to your parent or guardian case
You do not need to register to sign in to your case.
To sign in to your child maintenance case, you will need your:
- 12 digit customer reference number (this begins with ‘121’. Find this on letters we sent you about your case)
- National Insurance number (it’s on your National Insurance card, benefit letter, payslip or P60. For example, ‘QQ 12 34 56 C’)
- 7 digit PIN (this was set up when you started using the Child Maintenance Service)
If you have forgotten or do not know your PIN, you can reset it.
Manage your case online
Receiving parents can manage their case online as soon as they receive confirmation their application is complete. Paying parents will be able to manage their case online once they receive confirmation their case has been set up.
